# Multi-hop evidence review

The fictional Project Harbor example needs two terminal sources. One states the loading-bay requirement. The other records Imani Cole's approval.

| Check | Record |
|---|---|
| Question | |
| Starting entity | |
| Intermediate source and relationship | |
| Terminal sources required | |
| Actual paths and quotations | |
| Source verification results | |
| Result after a bridge changes | |
| Missing evidence or traversal limit | |
| Separate generated-answer review | |

## Reproduce the recorded graph step

1. Download and extract the multi-hop tools bundle.
2. Open a terminal in the extracted directory.
3. Choose your local Full 1.0.3 archive.
4. Choose an output file that does not exist.
5. Run the command below with Python 3.11.

```sh
python3.11 dev/public_editorial_multihop.py \
  --archive /path/to/gigabrain-full-1.0.3.zip \
  --output /path/to/new-multihop-result.json
```

The runner uses temporary storage and fictional files. It starts direct graph expansion from Project Harbor with no initial retrieval candidates. It checks both terminal passages, then changes the disposable bridge source and repeats the traversal.

This tests a graph stage. It does not measure hybrid ranking, model-based graph extraction or a generated answer. Preserve original documents in normal work. The source mutation belongs only to this isolated failure test.
